The attorney/trainers will serve in the role of defense attorneys in mock trial settings that are based on cases that students have worked on during the course of their training. Attorney/trainers will review students' paperwork and materials prior to the courtroom exercise, cross-examine the students on their testimony, and critique the students' performances as to their paperwork and materials presented on their testimony given during the mock trial. Each training session will contain a minimum of fifteen (15) students to a maximum of forty-two (42) students, making it necessary to run two sessions concurrently. Each attorney/trainer may conduct up to a maximum of thirteen (13) sessions per fiscal year. The attorney/trainers ensure mock trial scenarios and courtroom exercises align with the classroom material, which focuses heavily on: 1. Search and Seizure 2. Penal Code 3. Criminal Statutory Law.
