The Personnel Board needs individuals qualified to serve as independent hearing officers. Duties include presiding at administrative evidentiary hearings scheduled by the Board's staff and preparing Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Recommended Orders for the Board. Other quasi-judicial duties incidental to a hearing officer may also be assigned. Hearings will be conducted in Frankfort, Kentucky, and may be conducted in-person, by video teleconferencing, or using a hybrid model. Individual case assignments will be made by the Executive Director on an as-needed basis, depending upon the subject matter and the hearing officer's caseload. Multiple contracts may be awarded.
