The proposed contract action will initiate a new service agreement/contract to provide, Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression monitoring, detection, testing, maintenance and repair services for the newly constructed Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) medical campus in New Orleans, LA.
This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS.

The contractor will be responsible for labor, tools, and materials required to carry out all preventive maintenance for all Fire Alarm Suppression Devices for the campus. The contractor shall conduct 40 hours per week on-site scheduled service and provide comprehensive Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual and Annual Scheduled Maintenance and Testing per manufacturer's specifications. The scope also includes 250 hours of call-back services for general and emergency maintenance and repair, and a $50,000 parts rider for replacement parts. The contract covers 16 buildings on the main campus at 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA, including approximately 6,749 fire alarm devices and 4,000 sprinkler system devices.
