Request for Proposals (RFP) - Advanced Metering Infrastructure System

Proposals to provide and install approximately 841 water meters from ¾" to 6" (775-¾", 18-1", 18-1½", 20-2",7-4", 3-6") and an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system to manage and collect live time metering data will be received until Friday, October 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at the City of Zebulon, City Hall, 7818 U.S. Hwy 19 South, Zebulon GA 30295. Any proposal received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No proposal may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of proposals for a period of ninety (90) days except as specifically may be provided by State law.

The work to be completed shall consist of furnishing and installing approximately 841 water meters from ¾" to 6" (775-¾", 18-1", 18-1½", 20-2",7-4", 3-6") in the City of Zebulon. The work includes all installation labor, materials or related appurtenances regarding replacement of existing meters. The work to be completed also includes the installation of an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system, which includes installation labor, materials, training, billing software integration, and all related appurtenances regarding the AMI system.

The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract with an expected contract time of 180 consecutive calendar days.

All RFP packages will be sent via email as a PDF. Only proponents who are on file as having requested the RFP package will be allowed to submit on the project.

1. Competitive Cost Proposals

2. Scope of Work

3. Eligible Proponents / Prime Contractor
   The project, if awarded, will be under one contract to supply both the AMI system and provide
   installation. ALL PROPONENTS must be either the actual proposed meter manufacturer or the
   manufacturers’ designated meter supplier/vendor for this territory as the Prime Contractor on
   this project.
