This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 12444326Q0039 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Green Mountain National Forest Storage tank cleaning and inspection at Hapgood Pond. Hapgood Pond Recreation Area Water Tank Rehabilitation is Located on Hapgood Pond Road, Town of Peru, Bennington County, VT
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.
The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238220 The small business size standard is 19 This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.

The contractor shall remove all sediment and debris from the water storage tank, pressure wash the interior and exterior, seal holes and cracks, coat the entire interior and exposed exterior with a cementitious coating, and sanitize the tank. The tank interior dimensions are approximately 15'-4" diameter and 8'-9" deep. The allowance for crack and hole patching is 10 linear feet of cracks up to 1/4" wide and 2 square feet x 1/2" deep of patching for holes, spalls, honeycombed areas, or similar areas. The contractor must also clean and repaint the existing vent and overflow piping, and fit them with new stainless steel screening. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with no work on weekends or Federal Holidays without written authorization. The contractor must follow OSHA confined space procedures.
