Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) Data Initiative

The contractor will identify the highest-priority data-related challenges limiting the use of AI in TSMO for at least two use cases, develop descriptions of representative use case implementations, develop an inventory of national data sources, identify the highest-priority data-related gaps and challenges, and develop at least two preliminary prototypes (e.g., algorithms and models) to address high-priority data-related gaps and challenges faced by at least one AI-TSMO use case. The work includes developing documentation, supporting communications materials, and submitting a management plan. The contractor must hold a virtual kick-off meeting, coordinate progress review meetings, and provide monthly progress reports. An optional task may involve developing data or model benchmarks or additional prototypes.
