The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, labor, supervision, and personnel necessary to complete the FY27 NRM Brooklyn Upgrade Life Safety/Critical Branch Electrical Distribution Construction. The project tasks are broken into three categories: (1) install a dedicated life safety branch in Building 1 including automatic transfer switches and electrical distribution equipment for compliance with NFPA 70, NFPA 99, NFPA 110, and VA electrical design requirements; (2) upgrade and/or replace electrical distribution equipment to exceed expected three-phase asymmetrical fault current as determined by a previous SEL electrical study; (3) address equipment code violations determined during a previous SEL electrical study. The contractor shall complete the entire project no later than 540 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed.
