Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Yazoo is requesting bids for professional grease trap maintenance and cleaning services on a quarterly basis for Fiscal Year 2027. Service for the first quarter is estimated to begin between October – December 2026. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. Only eligible small business concerns will be considered for award.
1. Description of Requirement
FCC Yazoo City seeks quarterly grease trap maintenance and cleaning services for Fiscal Year 2027 across four facility locations.
Service Periods
Quarter 1: October – December 2026
Quarter 2: January – March 2027
Quarter 3: April – June 2027
Quarter 4: July – September 2027

Thorough cleaning of all grease traps, including scraping walls and baffles to remove accumulated grease.
Pumping, hauling, and disposal of grease waste in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Provision of documentation confirming compliant disposal after each service.

Food Service will contact the contractor each quarter to schedule services.
2. Contractor Requirements
Licensing Requirements
The prime contractor must be fully licensed and permitted in the State of Mississippi.
Subcontractors must also hold all required Mississippi certifications and licenses.
To pump, haul, and dispose of grease in Mississippi, contractors must obtain a Certified Pumper License from the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH). Under state regulation 15 Miss. Code. R. 18‑77‑2.1.37, this certification grants the legal authority to clean, pump, haul, and dispose of waste from grease traps, holding tanks, and septic systems.
All licenses and certifications must be included with the proposal. Failure to provide documentation will result in disqualification.
