Four coastal landslide geotechnical subsurface investigations including drilling and sampling.
The contractor will perform drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing at four landslide sites near major Oregon thruways: Highway 26 MP 13 (approx. 45 ft depth), Johnson Creek (approx. 120 ft depth), Hooskanaden (approx. 120 ft depth), and Reinhart Creek (approx. 120 ft depth). Work includes advancing boreholes using mud rotary drilling and HQ3 rock coring as needed, performing Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) and collecting Shelby Tube samples at specified intervals, and installing inclinometer tubes with vibrating wire piezometers. The contractor must provide all equipment, materials, water, and personnel, and must contain and dispose of all drill fluids and cuttings. Access to drill sites is from highway shoulders or pullouts within ODOT right-of-way. The contractor must also complete geotechnical hole reports and submit them to OWRD within 30 days of drilling completion.

Most Oregon work asks for the two below, and the solicitation documents are where it’s stated. One prequalification covers both — on this bid and the next.
A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
