Roadway work includes clearing and grubbing, unclassified excavation and borrow, topsoil salvage, temporary silt fence, sodding, mulching, mowing, aggregate base, stabilized subgrade, separator fabric, prime coat, superpave placement, rumble strips, and removal of existing concrete and asphalt pavement. Bridge work includes removal of drift and silt, substructure excavation and CLSM backfill, prestressed concrete beams (Type IV), approach slabs, saw-cut grooving, F-shaped parapets, structural steel, bearing assemblies, Class AA and Class A concrete, epoxy-coated reinforcing steel, bridge deck repair, water repellent application, elastomeric coating, expansion joint systems, crack preparation and sealing, pneumatically placed mortar, carbon fiber-reinforced polymer, and corrosion inhibitor application. Traffic control includes construction traffic striping, pavement marking removal, impact attenuators, portable longitudinal barriers, arrow displays, construction signs, barricades, warning lights, drums, and portable changeable message signs. Signing and striping work includes plural-component traffic stripes. Cable barrier work includes removal of existing cable barrier and installation of high-tension cable barrier (TL-4) with end anchors. Construction staking (Level II) and mobilization are required.
