The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) announces the availability of $24 million in funds for Grid Enhancing Technologies (GETs). This Program Opportunity Notice (PON) seeks technologies to improve the performance and validate value propositions for the electric power delivery system as it evolves with increasing renewable penetration. The technology topic areas that are targeted in this PON were chosen in collaboration with the Advanced Technology Working Group (ATWG). Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences:

NYSERDA is accepting Full Proposals in the following categories:
Category A: Product Development, Up to $3 million in NYSERDA funding per award with 50% cost share requirement
Category B: Demonstration Projects, Up to $3 million in NYSERDA funding per award with 50% cost share requirement

(a) For demonstration projects, the site must be in New York State.
(b) A New York State manufacturer should be on a new product development project.
