The program funds installation of Level 2 EVSE at eligible sites such as parks, ski areas, downtown business districts, and tourist attractions. Applicants must cover full project costs upfront and seek partial reimbursement. Projects must include a minimum of two L2 EVSE ports per site, and equipment must meet technical specifications including OCPP 1.6 or higher, OCPI 2.0.1 or newer, and be accessible to the public 24/7. Recipients must operate and maintain the EVSE for at least five years, ensure 95% uptime, and provide biannual charging session data.
