The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to seek equipment upgrades and repair services for a passenger elevator at the NH State Prison for Men (NHSP-M), 281 North State St., Concord, NH 03301. 1.2. Term of Agreement: A contract awarded by NHDOC as result of RFP NHDOC 2027-07 is expected to be effective upon Governor and Council approval through June 30, 2027. 1.3. Location of Services: Vendor shall provide Kitchen Elevator Upgrades and Repair Services which shall be performed at the following NHDOC location: NH Department of Corrections Correctional Facility Locations NH State Prison for Men (NHSP-M) 281 North State Street, Concord, NH 03301 1.4. Notwithstanding the foregoing, or any provisions of this RFP Agreement to the contrary, in no event shall changes to facilities be allowed that modify the “Completion Date” or “Price Limitation” of the Agreement. State of NH, Department of Corrections Kitchen Elevator Upgrade and Repair Service – NHSP-M
The contractor shall provide all equipment and services to complete full on-site upgrades and repairs for a 1985 Dover Corporation passenger elevator with a 4,000-pound capacity traveling between two floors of the kitchen at NHSP-M. Work includes removing and installing new pit channel steel, car operating panel, hall fixtures, elevator control system, closed-loop door operator system, door tracks and hangers, car doors and hatch doors on both floors, and a new power unit (motor, hydraulic valve, pump, oil reservoir/tank, muffler, isolation assembly, hydraulic fluid, and all necessary hardware). The contractor shall also furnish and install four security key switches and eight keys, perform all required safety tests, and provide results to the NH Department of Labor. All parts and work must comply with current local, state, and federal elevator code requirements.
