The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) seeks to select a firm to develop a user-friendly interactive dashboard that tells the story of the importance of investment in water infrastructure through interactive narratives, graphics and mapping. The intended audience is government officials, stakeholders, funding recipients and New Hampshire residents interested in understanding how and where NHDES invests grant and loan funding to improve water infrastructure across the state.
The firm will develop an online interactive dashboard to present water infrastructure funding projects and dollar amounts of investments. Tasks include: producing an interactive dashboard with narratives, graphics, widgets, and maps showing summary of projects funded, total dollars invested, ARPA funding highlights, photos/videos, project narratives, an interactive map of New Hampshire, and a story map; performing dashboard maintenance with updates up to twice a year; developing outreach materials such as a user guide; and coordinating with NHDES through regular meetings. The dashboard will initially include current projects and the prior five years of project data (2021-current), with potential addition of historic data. The selected firm may be contracted to host the dashboard with an option for NHDES to take over at contract end.
