NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for the following project in Division

DA00713 – Currituck County Rest Area Renovation and Addition on US-158 in Popular Branch, NC
WBS Element: 15RE.23.3
Contract Dates:
• Bid Submission: Wednesday, December 2, 2026, by 2:00 PM
• Date of Availability: January 4, 2027
• Completion Date: May 7, 2027
There is NO MBE/WBE Goal for this project.
CONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION

Work includes rest area renovation and addition including general construction of the rest area building, electrical installation for the rest area building, mechanical installation for the rest area building, and plumbing installation of the rest area building, to be completed in accordance with plans, specifications and the 2024 Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures.
