The purpose of this solicitation is to select a contractor to provide construction services for the replacement of approximately 1,200 feet of a 69 kV underground getaway originating from the Dillion Substation. Work will occur within the substation and generation facility, as well as within the City of Jacksonville right‑of‑way along Talleyrand Avenue and Wigmore Street. The scope includes installation of an open‑cut, concrete‑encased duct bank; installation of a HDD duct bank; pulling and installation of 69 kV EPR cable; modifications to an overhead transmission riser pole and substation termination structures; removal of existing direct‑buried 69 kV cable; site restoration; maintenance of traffic; permitting; and all other related activities.
