RE: Shop Warehouse
COLQUITT COUNTY is accepting sealed bids for the erection of a Shop Warehouse at the
C o l q u i t t C o u n t y S h o p .
All potential bidders MUST attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on October 20 at 10:00 am.
The pre-bid meeting will be at the Shop at 2020 County Farm Rd., Moultrie, GA.
The bid packet is available at the Purchasing office at the Colquitt County Annex, 101 East
Central Ave, room 206 or can be accessed on the Colquitt County web site at
www.colquittcountyga.gov/departments/purchasing and refer to the Bid and RFP List to download
this packet.
Sealed bids will be accepted in the office of the County Purchasing Agent, 101 East Central
Avenue, Suite 206, Moultrie GA 31768 (PO Box 517, Moultrie GA 31776-0517), until Monday,
November 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids
must be in a sealed envelope plainly marked in the lower left corner “Shop Warehouse”. It is
the bidder’s responsibility to have all bids turned in by the called time. No bids will be accepted
after the called time. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the called
time. The Colquitt County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all
bids and to waive any and all formalities.
Erect a 50’ X 100’ all-steel clear-span metal building with 18’ eave height, including a 50’ X 50’ insulated enclosed portion and a 50’ X 50’ open bay with chain link fencing and gates, minimum 26-gauge R-panel roof and siding at 3/12 pitch, divider wall, 6-inch forklift-rated slab with aprons, roll-up and personnel doors, gutters, flashing tie-in, submittals, shop drawings, permits, locates, OSHA compliance, debris disposal and 10% owner contingency, with old structure and slab removed by owner.
