Work includes cutting designated trees using approved tools. The Contracting Officer may substitute similar areas if original locations become unsuitable.
A non‑working, English‑speaking supervisor must be designated for each crew. Please see the Statement of Work for more details.
Provide all labor, equipment, tools, transportation and supervision to cut designated sand pine and oak trees under 5 inches dbh in longleaf pine plantations across approximately 1,575 acres in the Ocala National Forest using brush cutters, chainsaws or other approved tools, severing trees at the base with stump height not to exceed 3 inches while retaining all longleaf pines, large oaks and flagged trees, protecting trails, roads, fences and monuments, minimizing soil disturbance, with acreage determined by GPS and payment based on actual acres completed and accepted.
