WATER MAIN EXTENSION
The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids to furnish all labor, material, and equipment for the Water Main Extension for Annie Mitchell Dr., Bethel Rd., Lester Rd., McCalla Rd., North Hightower Trail for Rockdale County.
Any questions and/or misunderstandings that may arise from this ITB must be submitted in writing to Adrienne Brown at adrienne.m.brown@rockdalecountyga.gov. Submit questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding this ITB no later than 2:00 P.M., local time, Thursday, November 19, 2026. Written responses will be issued in an addendum. It is the bidder's responsibility to check the Rockdale County website at www.rockdalecountyga.gov, Bid Opportunities, Current ITBs/RFPs for any addenda that may be issued, prior to submitting a bid for this ITB.
Bids Submittals are due no later than 2:00 P.M., local time, Thursday, December 3, 2026, at the Department of Finance, 981 Milstead Avenue, Conyers, Georgia 30012. Any bid received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by OWNER. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time and location; however, bidders are not required to attend bid opening.

INTRODUCTION:
This is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the purchase of WATER MAIN EXTENSION FOR ANNIE MITCHELL DRIVE,
BETHEL ROAD, LESTER ROAD, MCCALLA ROAD, NORTH HIGHTOWER TRAIL in Rockdale County.
Instructions for preparation and submission of a bid are contained in this packet. Bids must be typed or printed in
ink.
The Contractor will furnish all products, tools, construction equipment, skill, and labor of every description
necessary to carry out and to complete in a good, firm, substantial workmanlike manner for Water Main Extension
for Annie Mitchell Dr., Bethel Rd., Lester Rd., McCalla Rd, N. Hightower Trail in accordance with the County’s
Request for Proposal No. 26-13, incorporated herein by reference, (hereinafter called “Work”), and Contractor’s
Proposal. Contractor shall provide, at their expense, all vehicles and equipment necessary to provide this work.

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals to construct approximately 12,000 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe water main, including installation of fire hydrant assemblies, isolation gate valves, connections to existing water mains, thrust restraint, backfill and compaction, pressure testing and disinfection, removal and replacement of fencing, milling and resurfacing asphalt paving, traffic control, erosion and sedimentation control, and site restoration and clean-up along five roads in Rockdale County, Georgia.
