The project is split into two parts priced independently. Part 1 is replacement of three units at the Recreation Facility - one 15-ton and two 20-ton Carrier units - with modern, high-efficiency units from a reputable manufacturer meeting or exceeding existing capacity while utilizing existing ductwork and electrical layout. Part 2 is installation of a new system at the Fleet Shop building measuring approximately 130’ x 60’ with 40’ ceiling at the ridgeline, with utilization of fabric air ducts desired. Existing units are to be removed and disposed of in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Proposals are assessed on quality, efficiency, warranty, and cost.

A surety’s written statement that it expects to bond you up to a stated amount, subject to final underwriting. It’s what a GC or agency asks to see before they take your bid seriously.
