Projects Construction Manager at Risk
The Public is hereby informed that the Buford City School System will be receiving
sealed proposals from qualified contractors for a Professional Construction
Manager at Risk (CM@Risk) for Buford Senior Academy Roof/HVAC
Replacement and Buford High School CTE Building.
Sealed proposals shall be sealed and mailed or delivered to Operations
Manager Tommy Lingerfelt, 2625 Sawnee Avenue Buford, Georgia 30518 prior
to 12:00 o’clock pm local time on
Any proposal received after this date and time shall not be accepted.
The School District reserves the right to reject any or all
proposals/qualifications, to waive technicalities, and to make an award
deemed in its best interest.

FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT-
AT- RISK FOR FACILITY PROJECTS FOR
THE BUFORD CITY SCHOOL SYSTEM
The Buford City School System will receive proposals until Monday, October 26th.
2026 at 12:00 o’ clock p.m. for Construction Management-at-Risk services for new
construction projects.
The CM will provide services during pre-construction and construction phases, including working with the owner and architect in project planning, arrangement of bid packages, bidding and award of trade contracts, and management of construction until occupancy is achieved. The CM must provide a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and a Guaranteed Delivery Date (GDD), and shall not perform any portion of the project with its own forces except as mutually agreed. The CM will be 'at risk' and responsible for completing the project within the GMP, with all savings reverting to BCSS if final cost is less than the GMP.
