The project upgrades the existing theatrical track lighting system in the CAVEA Theater, including replacing existing track-head fixtures with individually addressable, DMX-controlled fixtures, an updated lighting control station, and associated electrical work connecting to the existing lighting control system. The work covers approximately 1330 sf of IBC Type II_A construction under a single prime contract, to be coordinated with MSU Denver Facilities, University Events staff and the design engineer in an occupied building, with on-site construction between December 14, 2026 and January 15, 2027 and full operation January 16, 2027.
