The work includes removal and disposal of old non-LED light fixtures and replacement with specified LED light fixtures in two separate but adjacent buildings: the UMASS RTIC Building (112 existing fixtures, approximately 16 feet above finished floor, replaced with Day-Bright Cat. No. FBX08LL40-UNV or equal) and the UMass Transit Building (62 existing fixtures, approximately 8 feet above finished floor, replaced with Day-Bright Cat. No. DWLE51L840-8-UNV or equal). The work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental costs necessary to provide a complete operational installation, including furnishing all LED light fixtures, removal and proper disposal of existing fixtures, installation of new fixtures, all necessary hardware and incidental materials, furnishing appropriate manlift, protection of existing building and components, obtaining all applicable permits and inspections, and completing paperwork for PVTA to obtain Mass Save energy rebates.
