CPCS Children and Family Law Division and Mental Health Litigation Division Attorney Workload Study
The selected vendor will review existing CAFL and MHLD attorney caseload standards and workload information, assess the demands of representing clients across varied case types, and develop an evidence-based methodology for evaluating attorney workloads in each division. This includes analyzing case management, assignment, and billing data; incorporating input from experienced practitioners via surveys, interviews, or expert panels; evaluating time needed for ethical and professional responsibilities; and producing two separate final written reports (CAFL and MHLD) with findings, methodology, and recommendations on workload standards, staffing, and resource allocation, presented to CPCS leadership.
