The Children's Trust funds and manages parenting support programs designed to help families raise physically and emotionally healthy children. The RFR seeks partners to provide quality services that help children and families thrive through research, sharing proven best practices, grant-making, training, customized assistance, and advocacy for family-support services statewide. Programs are developed based on the five Protective Factors of the Strengthening Families approach: parental resilience, social connections, knowledge of parenting and child development, concrete support in times of need, and social and emotional competence of children.
