The lessee will farm designated crop fields according to a cropping plan (Attachment B) that rotates corn, soybeans, wheat, and cover crops across approximately 830 acres from 2027 to 2031. The lessee must provide all labor, machinery, tools, seed, fertilizer, equipment, and insurance. Specific requirements include: no neonicotinoid-treated soybean seed, no Dicamba, following label directions for Atrazine, planting cover crops on designated fields, maintaining 33-ft field borders and 66-ft wildlife corridors, establishing firebreaks, maintaining equipment clearance for field access roads, and hosting field trials. The lessee must also perform soil testing, document chemical and fertilizer applications, and provide yield monitor data. Acceptable services in lieu of cash payments include chemical application, clearing, construction, mowing, and other wildlife management tasks.
