The lessee will farm designated fields at Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Fish & Wildlife Area according to a cropping plan (Attachment B) that specifies corn, soybean, and cover crop rotations from 2027 through 2031. The lessee must provide all labor, machinery, tools, seed, fertilizer, equipment, and insurance. The lease requires adherence to conservation practices including cover crop planting, soil testing, and restrictions on neonicotinoid and Dicamba use. The lessee must guarantee lease payment annually, pay all leasehold taxes, and submit required documentation such as chemical application logs, seed reports, and yield monitor data.
