The contractor must perform annual inspection and testing of fire alarm system components across multiple buildings at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. The inventory includes signaling line circuits, manual pull stations, area smoke detectors, duct smoke detectors, heat detectors, sprinkler water flow detectors, voice alarm channels, nonvoice audible systems, valve supervisory switches, horns and strobes, backup batteries, main fire alarm panels, annunciation panels, data center suppression systems, and fire alarm roll-down doors. Building 70 CLC requires semi-annual inspection; all other buildings are inspected annually.
