Linen and Laundry Services - SAVAHCS

The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, management, supplies, bulk delivery carts, transportation, and facilities necessary to perform contractor-owned/contractor-operated bulk laundry/linen services for the Department of Veterans Affairs Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, Tucson, AZ. Services include pick-up and delivery of items, providing an electronic or online program to order all linen needs, a rental program for all linen needs, a quarterly titration report, monthly logs of trailer cleaning, a separate 96-hour contingency supply of linen, and the ability to facilitate cleaning of soiled linen at or around 1,350,000 lbs. a year. The contractor must provide all linens to be laundered, including flatwork items, items to be placed on hangers, and items to be tumbled dried and folded. The period of performance is a base year from January 1, 2027 to September 30, 2027, with four 12-month option years through September 30, 2031.
