On-Site Inscription Services at Quantico and Culpeper NCs - MPS

The contractor shall provide all labor and materials to perform inscription services on government-owned headstones, markers, and niche covers on-site at the cemetery. Work includes sandblasting inscriptions using non-hazardous aggregate, applying lithochrome when ordered, and inscribing emblems of belief. The contractor must establish and maintain a secure portable sandblasting structure with dust handling, noise abatement (<60 dBa at 500 feet), and a portable toilet. Orders are processed on a first-in/first-out basis with a 10-business-day turnaround, except for accelerated casualty-of-war requests. The contractor must complete Appendix C forms daily, participate in quality assurance inspections, and submit weekly status reports. Rejected inscribed monuments must be disposed of within 60 calendar days so no part of the inscription remains legible.
