Reverse Osmosis / Deionization System Modification procurement for the Minneapolis VA Health Care System.

The VA anticipates one Firm Fixed Price award to provide services to the Minneapolis Health Care System, 1 Veterans Dr., Minneapolis, MN 55417
The period of performance is 11/01/2026 to 01/31/2027.

Technical questions on this solicitation are due via e-mail only to Cameron Rick, Contracting Specialist, at Cameron.rick@va.gov no later than 5:00pm Central time on 10/19/2026.
Quotes are due to the Contracting Office by 12:00pm Central time on 10/23/2026. Quotes are required to be emailed to cameron.rick@va.gov prior to the solicitation closing date and time. It is the responsibility of the offeror to ensure their quote is received in its entirety by the Contracting Officer before the solicitation closing.
The contractor shall separate the SPS DI main critical water loop from the DI Loop in the interstitial space above room BA-101, reconnect the DI 1 ¼” line to the lab, disconnect two ½” DI sink supply and returns, remove the 1 ¼” schedule 80 main DI loop, reconnect the sink and DI lines to the 2” main RO branch lines, add 12 ST108 compliant flushing and testing ports to the RO critical water loop, install a new UV Sterilizer (Culligan CUVR5-555 or equivalent), install a new multi cartridge filter housing, isolate DI water lines to unused sinks in rooms BB-137 and BD-112, sanitize RO and DI critical water loops, install four AAMI ST108‑compliant steam sampling ports on the four steam sterilizers, replace the existing RO low pressure switch, replace six existing RO membranes (4 x 40 inches), and replace the existing 20” 5-micron RO prefilter.
