About this bond

What it is and who needs it.

What the bond actually guarantees

Wyoming licenses combat sport promoters through the Wyoming Combat Sports Commission (W.S. Title 33, Chapter 48), and the promoter files a bond with the State Treasurer. The bond backs the promoter's obligations around an event — paying fighters and officials and satisfying the fees and expenses tied to the match.

HB 180 (effective March 2019) changed the bond from a flat $10,000 to an amount set by the board, not to exceed the greater of $10,000 or the total estimated expenses associated with the match. For larger cards, that can push the bond above the floor.

This page is for events where the Commission has set a figure above $10,000. Enter the amount on your Commission notice and we issue it at a flat 3% with no credit check. If your bond is the $10,000 minimum, our fixed combat sport promoter page is the faster path.
