This is the $4,000 TABC performance bond — the escalated amount a Wine and Beer Retailer's (BG) permit holder files after a first performance bond is forfeited. Our price is $100 flat — the price you see is the checkout price, set by our carrier's rate book for this bond. The bond issues the moment you pay — no credit review of any kind, not even a soft pull.

Performance bonds are the simplest thing in surety. Here's the entire process:
Business details, the permit city, and an effective date. No financials, no credit section, no follow-up scavenger hunt.
Small fixed performance bonds like this are among the bond types that issue right after purchase. At most, 1–2 business days.
Your executed performance bond and power of attorney arrive by email, ready to attach to your TABC reinstatement. Wet-ink original mailed on request.
A TABC performance bond is a compliance guarantee: it stands behind your promise to operate your wine and beer retailer's permit in accordance with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code and the rules of the Commission. It is required of BG holders in Bexar, Dallas, Harris, and Tarrant counties who do not hold a Food and Beverage (FB) certificate.
It's a three-party arrangement: you (the principal), the surety carrier, and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (the obligee). If TABC forfeits the bond after a code or rule violation, the Commission can recover against it — and, if the surety pays, you repay the surety.
This is the escalated $4,000 tier. The first performance bond is $2,000; after a forfeiture, a $4,000 bond is required before the permit can be reinstated — this page. A further forfeiture steps the amount up again. We notify you 60 and 30 days before expiration so your filing stays continuous.
These are the actual issuing fields — no credit section, because this application collects no credit information.
