A deeper limit for a mid-size crew: this Business Services Bond tier steps the coverage up to a $5,000 loss limit, priced for a business with 7 to 15 employees. It's the same client-facing employee-dishonesty protection at a higher payout ceiling — $221 flat, the price you see is the checkout price, and the application collects no credit information.

A Business Services Bond is one of the simplest filings we issue. Here's the entire process:
Business details, entity type, and an effective date. That’s the application — no financials, no credit section.
This bond is among the thousands of bond types that issue right after purchase. At most, 1–2 business days.
Your executed bond arrives by email, ready to hand to the client or property manager who required it. Wet-ink original mailed on request.
This tier of the Business Services Bond raises the coverage limit to $5,000, priced for a business with 7 to 15 employees. Like every tier of this product, it covers a loss when an employee of yours steals from a client — not from you — while performing work on the client's premises, and it does not respond to a claim your own business makes against itself.
It's a three-party arrangement: you (the principal), the surety carrier, and your client as the protected party for any given job. If an employee is proven to have stolen from a client while performing services you were hired for, the client can make a claim against the bond up to its $5,000 limit.
It is not insurance for you — if the surety pays a claim, it can seek recovery from the employee responsible, not from your business generally. Coverage does not extend to volunteers or 1099 contractors — only your own employees are covered. There is no government statute behind this bond; it exists because clients and their contracts ask for it.
These are the actual issuing fields — no credit section, because this application doesn’t collect credit information.
