OPPORTUNITIES-DESCRIPTION
The contractor shall provide Board Certified Interventional Radiologist services on site at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. Services include interventional radiology procedures such as angiography, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, line insertion, chemoembolization, TIPS placement, Y90 radioembolization, and interpretation of complex vascular ultrasounds. The contractor must provide two physicians on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with one physician on-call for all off-tour hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The contractor is responsible for resident supervision and teaching, medical records documentation, and participation in quality improvement activities and staff meetings.
