Resilient

The Resilient program aims to develop and demonstrate an integrated system comprising a Material Accelerator (a physical, scalable testing platform) and a Scalability Model (a physics-informed, multi-scale modeling framework) to achieve >1,000x acceleration of concrete aging. Performers will design and fabricate a benchtop accelerator in Phase 1, then refine it into a versatile, transportable prototype in Phase 2. Testing will be conducted on concrete formulations corresponding to historical data contributed by performers and on government-defined formulations. The program includes a federated data model where performers contribute historical concrete degradation data. Key metrics include material acceleration factor, predictive accuracy of time to failure, and morphological accuracy. The contract will be a fixed-price payable milestone Other Transaction for Prototype Agreement with 13 fixed payable milestones over 24 months.
