Department of DefenseIssuing agency·Philadelphia, PA·via the SAM.gov Get Opportunities APIThe Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to negotiate and award a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) ordering provisions to Defense Maritime Solutions (DMS), Chesapeake, VA, in support of the Littoral Combat Ship, Independence Variant (LCS-2V) Waterjets. The Government intends to make an award prior to the 4th quarter of fiscal year 2027.
The contractor shall provide engineering and technical services required to maintain adequate and effective operational readiness, safety, and mission effectiveness of the LCS-2V Waterjet's mechanical, hydraulic, and electric control systems. The components include four (4) Waterjets per ship, external to the hull, and their ancillary equipment. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, the associated hydraulic power unit (HPU), the waterjet control unit (WCU), and the power take off (PTO) pumps. The proposed requirement will improve the reliability and maintainability of the systems, as well as the operating and support costs of the 54DMS products and ancillary equipment long term.
