IAW Attachment 1 - Statement of Work, The Northern Great Plains Agricultural Research Laboratory (NGPRL), has a requirement of:
INSTALLING NEW BARBED-WIRE FENCE, POSTS, GATES. INSTALLING NEW ELECTRICAL SERVICE LINE WITH OUTLETS AND SET UP. INSTALLING APROXIMATELY 1,475 FT OF UNDERGROUND 1” POLYETHYLENE WATER SUPPLY PIPE WITH ALL THE ASSOCIATED VALVES, DRAINBACKS, AND HARDWARE. INCLUDING 1 – 1INCH FROST FREE 8FT HYDRANT AND 1 DOUBLEBOWL THERMOSINK STOCK WATER FOUNTAIN WITH ALL THE ASSOCIATED HARDWARE AT THE USDA-ARS NGPRL AT SITE.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238990. The small business size standard is $19M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision to install approximately 10,375 ft of new perimeter barbed-wire fence and 2,425 ft of interior fence with steel T-posts, green treated wooden posts, H-braces, corners, and gates (including 4-20ft heavy duty tubular livestock gates, 1-16ft gate, and 3 wire gates). The contractor shall also install approximately 1,450 ft of underground direct burial electrical wire with two 100-amp service panels, junction boxes, and two 120v 20-amp GFCI outlets at two sites, coordinating with Mor Gran Sou electric company for new meter service. Additionally, the contractor shall install approximately 1,475 ft of underground 1-inch polyethylene water supply pipe with valves, drainbacks, one 1-inch frost-free 8ft hydrant, and one double-bowl Thermosink stock water fountain, coordinating with Missouri West Water for new service. All work must comply with applicable codes, UFGS, and ARS 242.1M standards, and the site must be restored to original condition.
