The contractor must supply and install a new 800 amp, 480 volt ASCO automatic transfer switch (or approved equal) for the 500 Ton York Chiller #2. The work includes using approximately 75 feet of existing 3.5-inch rigid conduit and providing approximately 45 feet of new 3.5-inch rigid conduit to complete tie-ins, using an existing GE 800-amp spare breaker, and integrating the new transfer switch with the existing Johnson Controls system to allow only one chiller to operate under emergency power. The contractor must also submit a Site Safety Plan, verify all dimensions and site conditions, keep the work area clean, and complete the project within 90 calendar days of notice to proceed.
