Repair Bldg. 111 Concrete Facade 695-22-121 IFB

The project involves repairing spalling concrete and cracks in the precast concrete panels of Building 111, providing supplemental lateral anchorage at isolated panels, replacing sealant, and installing flashing end dams and cavity closures at the interface between precast concrete panels and brick masonry. This requires removal and replacement of brick masonry along the full height of the precast panels, removal of all existing caulk and joint sealant (which contains low-level asbestos), and traditional asbestos abatement. The work also includes hazardous materials abatement and will be performed in phases across multiple elevations while the hospital remains fully operational.
