This task will involve the vendor uninstalling the current old/dated Panasonic projectors and installing new Christie projectors, which are already on hand and in METC’s inventory (GFE). The installation shall utilize the current cable and mounts already in place, as no additional cable runs are required. Subsequent programming will be necessary to ensure the new Christie projectors communicate and function correctly with the current system. This request would also include the ability for vendors to work nights/weekends to complete installation of media equipment. Specifically, the replacement of approximately 100 projectors within identified classrooms (Appendix B) Vendors will uninstall the old projectors and move them to the METC IT warehouse.
Vendors will unbox, install, mount, align and test the new projectors to ensure proper viewing, functionality, and integration into the system. The contractor will discard all trash and debris from unboxing and installation.
Existing code is on hand, but new code may need to be written. A Crestron Programmer with 5 plus years of experience is required to complete this upgrade (no exceptions). Any code created must be uncompiled and along with any drawings are required to be turned over to the METC AV Team upon completion of the installation.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to assemble, and install a quantity of 100 government furnished equipment (Christie brand projectors). The work includes uninstalling old Panasonic projectors and moving them to the METC IT warehouse, unboxing, installing, mounting, aligning and testing new projectors, discarding trash and debris, and writing new code if needed. The contractor must also provide a complete assessment of the current AV/IT System, a Bill of Materials (BOM), and repair any walls with patch and paint if necessary.
