Offers are due 23 SEPT. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters has a requirement to perform concrete surface
preparation (surface profile CSP-3), apply Government-Furnished primer, apply a base coat of Government-Furnished epoxy, broadcast contractor-furnished slip-resistant aggregate to refusal, and apply a final locking seal coat of the Government-Furnished epoxy.This procurement will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. There will be one site visit at Building 2582 on Wednesday, 16 September. The site visit is required. All contractors will need to meet at Building 2582, 7701 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, Virginia 22315 for check-in beginning at 9am EST. All contractors who wish to be at the site visit must send their names, phone numbers, and company names to the Contract Specialist, Rick Klein, via email, NLT Tuesday, 15 September 3pm EST. All contractors must be US Citizen or US National and possess a valid Government ID. Must have driver license to enter Facilities. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to ensure the quote has been received by the contracting office via email. Fax quotes will not be accepted. Late quotes will be processed in accordance with RFO 52.212-1(c) “Late submission, modifications, revisions, and withdrawals of offers.” Upon receipt of the electronic offer, the Government will acknowledge receipt of that offer via email to the Offeror.
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, insurance, safety gear, and contractor-furnished materials necessary to prepare and install a high-durability, slip-resistant epoxy flooring system across approximately 3,500 square feet of concrete floor. Work includes mechanical surface preparation to CSP-3, applying Government-furnished primer and GARON Tigerbond 221 Ultra epoxy base coat, broadcasting contractor-furnished slip-resistant aggregate (30/50 mesh aluminum oxide or silica sand) to refusal, and applying a final lock coat of Government-furnished epoxy. The contractor must also establish containment zones, set up HEPA-filtered dust extraction, repair cracks and spalls, and clean up and demobilize. All work shall be performed during normal and weekend working hours while allowing facility personnel to maintain operations.
