Inspection invited between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays. Arrange inspection with Mr. Greg Kelley, Depot Forester, Red River Army Depot, telephone number 903-334-1719 or cell phone number (903) 277-2912. Bidders are required to call 24 hours in advance of desired time of inspection.
The purchaser must harvest and remove designated pine and hardwood timber (sawtimber, chip-n-saw, and pulpwood) from Compartment 22 of Red River Army Depot, following operator selection to maintain specified basal areas, utilizing trees to specified top diameters, and complying with all terms regarding slash disposal, stump heights, road protection, environmental protection, and fire suppression. The contract runs until 31 December 2027, with payments based on per-unit bid prices and verified scale or weight tickets.
