The contractor must remove and dispose of obsolete components and install a modern, non-proprietary microprocessor-based control system for four hydraulic passenger elevators, replacing the existing TKE TAC-20 controllers with solid-state microprocessor controllers and VFD drives. Work includes new wiring packages, selector systems, pit safety switches, door operators and reopening devices, car operating panels, hall stations and lanterns, and integration of hoistway serial boards. The contractor must retain and reuse the existing hydraulic power unit, jack assembly, cab shell and flooring, and hoistway door panels. Upon completion, the contractor must perform a Full-Load Safety Test, coordinate final inspection with the AHJ, provide three sets of laminated as-built wiring diagrams, and provide at least two hours of on-site training to FCC staff.
