Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1281 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for plot sized cultivating tractor capable of being used on all stages of alfalfa growth (up to 20 inches) and research spacing, the ability to recharge batteries in the field to extend runtime, and the flexibility to add or change implements to meet research needs.
This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333112 The small business size standard is 1,500 employees This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The contractor shall provide a compact, plot-sized electric cultivating tractor with at least 20 inches of ground clearance, a minimum of 45 inches between inner tires, ability to operate up to 8 hours per day with field-rechargeable batteries, and flexibility to add or change implements. The tractor must be delivered to USDA-ARS, Plant Science Research Unit, 1535 Lindig St, St. Paul, MN 55108 within 60 days of receipt of order. The required items include a Super E - Electric Cultivating Tractor (Tilmor), 12A Lithium Battery Charger, 50AH Battery (4 EA), Canopy, 48V 12AH Lithium Battery Charger, Super E 64" Toolbar, Parallel Cultivator Kit, 1 Row - 2 Parallel Cultivators, 13" Parallel Finger Weeder Kit, Knife A-Blade 10", Hard-Orange 13", A-Blades, 8 inch, Flat Shank Mount, Flex Tine Mount and Clamp Kit, and Hardware Pack for Flat/Round Shanks.
