The contractor shall provide subscription services for databases, e-books, e-journals, point-of-care and other online services from multiple publishing houses to the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System. Services include ordering subscriptions, ensuring timely delivery, handling claims for missing/defective issues, providing renewal lists in MS Excel, notifying of ceased titles, acquiring back issues upon request, assigning a project manager with at least 3 years of experience in health sciences, and providing MARC format catalog data. The contractor must have the financial resources to pay publishers in full and in advance for all VA orders.
