The 36th Contracting Squadron (36 CONS) has a requirement for two (2) Electric Forklift Reach Trucks, two (2) compatible batteries (one per forklift) and one (1) battery charging station to be delivered to Andersen Air Force Base (AAFB), Guam. The requirement includes ancillary services for the removal and disposal of one (1) existing battery charging station, installation of the new charging station, and testing and commissioning to verify all components perform to specification.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to remove and dispose of one existing battery charging station, install one new battery charging station including conduit, wiring, and mechanical fasteners, and perform a complete system operational check for the forklifts and charging stations. The forklifts must meet detailed salient characteristics including capacity of 3,000-3,999 pounds, travel speed of 5-6 mph, power steering, pantograph reach mechanism, tilt and sideshift mechanisms, and a minimum 24-volt lead-acid battery rated for eight hours of continuous operation. The battery charging station shall supply 208 volt, 3 phase, 60 hertz and include automatic overcharge prevention.
