The contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and necessary reporting for the provision of Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Specialty Care Transport (SCT) or Critical Care Transport (CCT) services on a 24/7 basis, including weekends and holidays. Services include emergent and non-emergent transports, transport of patient luggage and medical records, and up to four simultaneous transportation requests. The contractor must utilize the VetRide Vendor Portal or VA-Approved Transportation Software for trip requests, claims, and invoicing. Response times include 30 minutes for urgent transports from VA and 60 minutes for add-on requests. The contractor shall maintain a Quality Control Plan and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Service Contract Labor Standards, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.
