The period of performance will commence on December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2031. This SOW describes the level of service to be performed and minimal acceptable criteria that shall be met.
The contractor shall provide a complete service solution, including parts that meet Original Equipment (OE) performance requirements as well as all materials and consumables required to perform this scope of services. The contractor shall supply all tools, equipment and labor required to perform this scope of services. Work includes necessary skilled labor at WMATA facility locations, all tools and equipment, all consumables, replacement hardware, new original equipment replacement parts, calibrated instruments, monitoring PM schedules in Maximo to ensure 95% PM compliance, performing all scheduled preventive maintenance (semi-annually, approximately 264 PM inspections per month), annual inspection/maintenance and recharging/hydrostatic testing of fire extinguishers per NFPA 10 and OSHA, ensuring original application approved installation configuration, establishing efficient communication, acknowledging unscheduled maintenance requests within 24 hours, completing work without undue delay, working split shifts, performing Post Delivery Inspection (PDI) of AFSS/AFDS on all new buses (approximately 100 per year), acting on WMATA's behalf for new bus warranty issues, documenting all work in Maximo, providing monthly reports including warranty details, failure trend analysis, and PM compliance.
