The contractor must provide hot and frozen meals seven days a week: 150-200 meals Monday through Friday and 40-60 meals Saturday and Sunday, with meals ready for pick-up by 9:00 AM. The scope includes preparing regular, diabetic, and low potassium menus on a 6-week cycle, meeting strict nutritional standards (e.g., at least 750 calories, less than 1200 mg sodium, 30 mcg Vitamin C per meal). The contractor must have a meal preparation facility with a health permit, a Registered Dietitian (or approved alternative), food handlers' cards for all staff, and the ability to purchase meal transport equipment within 4 weeks of award. The contractor must also provide two sample meals for panel review and submit a Meal Cost Analysis Worksheet.
